What is DirayahAI?
DirayahAI is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that turns your business documents into AI-powered tools. It ships two products: an embeddable website chatbot for customer-facing support, and a Knowledge Assistant — a shareable internal Q&A tool for teams. Both draw answers exclusively from your uploaded documents — not from the internet, not from other companies' data.
Why should I upload my sensitive documents to your system? Is it safe?
This is the right question to ask — and here's the honest answer. Your documents live in a fully isolated environment. No other tenant can see, access, or query your data. Ever. We do not use your documents to train any AI model. Your content is never fed into OpenAI's or Anthropic's training pipelines. When you ask a question, only the single most relevant chunk of text — not your full document — is sent to the AI model to generate the answer. The rest of your document stays on our servers, untouched. Most importantly: you stay in full control. Delete a document and every chunk, every embedding, and every piece of chat history tied to it is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers. No backups, no residual traces. All data transmission is encrypted via TLS. Your documents are not readable in transit.
How is DirayahAI different from just uploading a PDF to ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers from general training data and can hallucinate facts that aren't in your document. DirayahAI uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) — every answer is pulled directly from your uploaded documents. No guessing, no generic responses. More importantly, DirayahAI is infrastructure — not a chat tool. You embed it on your own website or internal portal. Your employees or customers interact with it directly, without ever needing a ChatGPT account. It's your chatbot, running on your content, living on your site.
What document formats are supported?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), plain text (.txt), CSV, HTML files and Live URLs. Maximum file size is 50 MB per document.
Can I embed the chatbot on my website?
Yes. Each domain generates a unique widget API key. Paste one script tag on your site and your chatbot goes live instantly. No developer needed beyond that one line.
Is my data shared with other tenants?
Never. Every tenant gets a fully isolated environment. Your documents, embeddings, and conversations are never shared with or visible to other businesses on the platform.
What AI models does DirayahAI use?
The platform supports GPT-4o Mini (Starter plan), GPT-4o and Claude Sonnet (Business and Enterprise plans). You can also bring your own OpenAI or Claude API key on any plan.
What languages does the chatbot support?
The chatbot adapts to the user's chosen language. Supported languages include English, Arabic, Urdu, French, and more.
What is a "domain" in DirayahAI?
A domain is a logical grouping of documents with its own chatbot. For example, you might have one domain for HR policies and another for compliance manuals — each with its own widget and API key.
What is the Knowledge Assistant?
The Knowledge Assistant is DirayahAI's second product. While the website chatbot embeds on your site for customer interactions, the Knowledge Assistant creates a shareable public link for your documents. Share it with your team, partners, or stakeholders — they can ask questions and get answers directly from your uploaded documents, with no DirayahAI account required.
How is the Knowledge Assistant different from the website chatbot?
The chatbot is customer-facing — it embeds on your website as a floating widget and your visitors interact with it. The Knowledge Assistant is team-facing — you get a shareable link that anyone with the link can use. Think of the chatbot as your 24/7 customer support agent and the Knowledge Assistant as your internal expert on everything you've documented.
Can I use both the chatbot and the Knowledge Assistant?
Yes — both are included in every plan. A common setup: use the chatbot on your public website to handle customer inquiries, and use the Knowledge Assistant internally for your HR, legal, or compliance teams who need quick access to policy documents. You control what documents each tool has access to.
Can I bring my own OpenAI or Claude API key?
Yes, on any plan. If you add your own OpenAI or Claude API key in your dashboard settings, the system will use it automatically. If no key is provided during your trial, the platform provides its own keys. Once your trial expires without a key, chatbot access is restricted until you either add your own key or upgrade to a paid plan.
What happens when my free trial ends?
After your 60-day trial, the chatbot will be paused until you either add your own OpenAI or Claude API key in the dashboard settings, or upgrade to a paid plan. Your documents and account remain intact — nothing is deleted.
What happens when I reach my message limit?
On the free plan, the chatbot will display a restriction message when the monthly limit is reached. Upgrade to a paid plan to increase your limits.
How do I set up my chatbot?
Sign up → verify your email → go to the Domains tab → create a domain → upload your documents → open the domain card and navigate to the Embed page → copy the script tag and paste it anywhere on your website. Most users are live within 5 minutes.
